The City of Fort Payne and the DeKalb County Economic Development Authority contracted with GEC to complete an in depth property evaluation of the industrial property located just to the north of Fergusson on the south end of Fort Payne. The project consisted of a boundary survey of the property, topographic map of the property with one foot contours, a phase one environmental site assessment and a geotechnical study including soil borings. This property is a prime location for industrial development in the south end of Fort Payne and has easy access to Interstate 59. GEC was happy to assist the City and the DeKalb County Economic Development Authority in the evaluation of this industrial property.
