DeKalb County Road 44 Gas Main Extension
DeKalb-Cherokee Counties Gas District contracted GEC to assist them with the evaluation of a high pressure gas main along County Road 44 in DeKalb County. The preliminary phase consisted of a feasibility study to evaluate the payback on the new extension, and to determine constructability. The final project consisted of approximately 31,000 LF of 4" High Pressure Steel Gas Main which shall serve the areas large concentration of poultry farms, and provide clean, affordable fuel for the future.
