Gaylesville Tank Repaint

Northeast Alabama Water, Sewer & Fire Protection District contracted with GEC to assist them in recoating the existing 500,000 gallon water storage tank in Cherokee County, Alabama near the Town of Gaylesville.  The original tank was built in the early 80’s and has not been repainted since.  This project consists of blasting the interior and exterior coatings off to a near white blast and then recoating the interior and the exterior with a 100% solids coating as manufactured by Induron Protective Coatings.  The total cost for the project is approximately $143,000.00.
